When Should I Book My Maternity Session?
The ideal time to shoot is between your 28th and 34th week (late 7th or 8th month) of pregnancy, when your baby bump is beautifully defined and you are still moving comfortably. To secure your preferred date, we recommend reaching out by your second trimester (around week 20–24).
What Is The Ideal Age For Newborn Photography?
The sweet spot is between 5 to 14 days after birth. During this window, newborns retain their natural womb-like curled flexibility, sleep deeply, and have not yet developed common infant colic or baby acne. If your baby is slightly older or was born prematurely, we adjust the posing and setups to match their development and comfort.
What Should I Bring?
For Newborns: Extra formula or expressed milk (if bottle-feeding), plenty of diapers, baby wipes, a pacifier (helps soothe between transitions), a soft receiving blanket, and a change of clothes for parents.
For Maternity & Families: Neutral or seamless undergarments (nude strapless bra, seamless underwear), personal grooming essentials, and any meaningful heirloom items or sonogram prints you wish to include.
Are Dresses Provided?
Yes. We offer a curated, in-house studio wardrobe of premium, designer maternity gowns crafted to flatter your silhouette. For newborns, we supply a vast collection of imported wraps, specialized fabrics, and custom-designed headbands and bonnets—all strictly sanitized before every session.
Can family members join?
Yes. Immediate family—partners, older siblings, and even grandparents—are warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate in dedicated parent and sibling portraits.
How long does a session take?
Newborn Sessions: Typically 2 to 4 hours. We work strictly at your baby’s pace, allowing ample time for feedings, diaper changes, and soothing. We never rush a newborn.
Maternity & Milestone Sessions: Typically 2.5 to 3.5 hours, including hair, makeup styling, and multiple wardrobe/backdrop changes.
When will I receive photos?
Proofing Gallery: A soft-proofing gallery for image selection is shared within 24 hours post-shoot.
Final Deliverables: Your hand-retouched, high-resolution digital images are delivered within 2 weeks after you finalize your selections. Printed heirloom albums and framed prints follow within 2 to 3 weeks after digital approval.

Date Reservation: Lock in your date with a standard slot-booking advance. (For newborns, we reserve a tentative slot based on your expected due date and adjust once baby arrives).
Pre-Session Planning: We coordinate styling, wardrobe selection, color palettes, and session guidelines.
Shoot Day: Relax at our Salt Lake, Kolkata or Habra, North 24 Parganas studio while our team handles every creative and technical detail.
